Both standard and tailored (to specific industry standards) ongoing health assessments are provided as part of a health surveillance programme. These examinations are designed to compliment the pre-employment and exit health examinations. The examination includes:-

  • Completion of a medical questionnaire regarding current health and work;
  • A complete physical examination (with a specific industry emphasis) including height, weight, vision, blood pressure and pulse; and
  • Additional assessments and investigations as appropriate to the workplace.
 
Following the examination and collation of all investigation results, the individual is provided with a brief report outlining the findings of the medical examination and containing advice and recommendations (if any) for work or lifestyle change to maintain and improve their health. The employer is also provided with a de-identified report outlining the aggregate health findings for their work force together with health surveillance recommendations.
