Many people can identify that stress is a problem in their lives, but need support to make the behavioural changes necessary.  Common signs of stress are:-

  • Feeling exhausted or fatigued all the time;
  • Difficulty sleeping;
  • Feeling agitated or hyperactive;
  • Feeling depressed or tired, not able to get on top of things;
  • Difficulty making decisions; and
  • Chronic musculoskeletal problems.

Our programme involves an initial assessment by one of our doctors who will ascertain the causes of the individual’s stress and obtain information about: their current and past medical and psychological history.  An appropriate and agreed individual management plan will be formulated which may include consultations with our physiotherapist and psychologist.  The plan will include a combination of individual and group sessions and will include relaxation techniques.
