Dr Ziaur Rahman

Dr Rahman is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and has more than 15 years of experience as an Australian GP. He is passionate about all aspects of general practice and is comfortable treating both paediatric and adult patients. He has extensive long-term regional experience in managing chronic conditions and is highly experienced in skin cancer diagnosis and management. He also has substantial experience in occupational health, including visa and other medicals.

Dr Rahman is skilled in a range of small surgical procedures, including:

• Skin lesion biopsies
• Skin cancer excisions
• Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen
• Excision of lumps and bumps
• Incision and drainage of abscesses
• Implanon insertion and removal
• Wedge resection of ingrown nails
• Wound management of various types

Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
